If you then wax your car at least 3 times a year you will build up an effective protective layer, and be able to keep a good shine on your car. Be careful to choose a sealant and wax that is suitable for the weather conditions where you live. Using a sealant not designed for extreme temperatures when you need it can end up damaging your paintwork.

Most jet washes leave a film of dirt, so washing by hand is the best way to clean your car. Washing your car with a bucket and water only takes about 15 minutes, and it is worth the extra effort.
