Downside

Steel buildings may require special equipment to build. However, you can buy steel garage kits. This will take quite a bit of the guesswork out of erecting a steel building. Steel absorbs heat very well. In cold weather, the heat can absorb into the building and dissipate quickly. They can rust if damaged. You would need to protect them if scratched or dented.
